Management Team

Qnectus’ management team has extensive experience in innovative IT technologies – experience totaling more than fifty (50) years in the aggregate. This, complimented by material managerial skillsets in entrepreneurship, investment banking, and international business, provides Qnectus with a solid foundation from which to pursue a dominant position within both the domestic and the international markets for cloud computing and related services.


Peter Danby, President
Mr. Danby is the President and Chairman of Qnectus; the President and Co-Founder of Ironlinx Packaging, Inc.; Co-Managing Partner of Ignite Growth Partners, LLC; and an adjunct professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Delaware. Mr. Danby earned a B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) in Finance at the age of nineteen, after only four semesters of study, and also holds an M.A. in Political Science and International Relations and an M.S. in Finance, all from the University of Delaware. 

Anthony George, Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Mr. George is the Chief Operations Officer of Qnectus and Co-Managing Partner of Ignite Growth Partners, LLC. Mr. George is formerly a Senior Analyst for Murray, Devine & Company—a full-service business valuation and financial advisory firm. At Murray, Devine, he served the valuation needs of many leading private equity investors including The Carlyle Group, The Blackstone Group, Apollo Management, Thomas H. Lee Partners, and Bain Capital. Mr. George graduated with a B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) in Finance, after only six semesters of study, and a M.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware. He also pursued graduate coursework in Financial Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. 

Gary Paulish, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Mr. Paulish has experience in software and systems engineering, cross-platform distributed systems and service oriented architecture with a proven track record of vision and execution. He is an avid proponent of virtualization, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and autonomic systems. Before Qnectus he co-founded DSi Technologies, Inc. an IT services and software development firm that serviced SMBs and Fortune 500 companies alike. Mr. Paulish also held key positions at MBNA America (now Bank of America), Wilmington Trust and Eclipsys. He holds a B.S in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Delaware.

Dustin Sterkenburg, Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Sterkenburg has more than 10 years of experience in cloud computing and architecting secure, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. He most recently co-founded DSi Technologies, which provided IT services and software development to medium and Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Sterkenburg was a lead C# .NET developer and SQL Server DBA for Eclipsys (now Allscripts).  He also worked for MBNA America (now Bank of America), where he developed applications for various business areas supporting consumer finance and credit card. He holds a B.S in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Delaware.

William Grote, Vice President
Mr. Grote has over 20 years international experience in business development and enterprise software sales. He is a co-founder of Mystic River Media; a Web 2.0 Development and Marketing firm based in Boston. Prior to Mystic River, William ran business development at LegiTime Technologies, a Windows Mobile & Blackberry software developer. Prior to LegiTime, Mr. Grote worked internationally for 10 years in Germany and the UK, directing on-line marketing and business development activities for a number of companies with a focus on software and hosted application services.

Before returning to the US in 2002, Mr. Grote directed marketing for NetCenter AG, an enterprise software provider located in Bremen, Germany. After returning to the United States, he earned a MS in Information Systems and an MBA from Boston University in 2005. He also holds a BS from Cornell University.

Stewart McLean, Special Projects
Mr. McLean is the Special Projects Manager of Qnectus. Mr. McLean earned a B.S. in Information Sciences and Technologies and a Minor in Business at Pennsylvania State University. Before working at Qnectus, Mr. McLean served in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer. He was deployed to Iraq from August 2009 to January 2010 to support Operation Iraqi Freedom by conducting over 90 combat missions. In Iraq, Mr. McLean earned several medals and he received a Meritorious Mast for his services.
